You can also set up an SP 4.500 to play a pair of front speakers while also powering a subwoofer with up to 300 watts RMS — a great way to power a complete system. A variable bass boost helps fine-tune your sub's thump when the amp's set up this way.

Fits in and integrates well

Not only is the amp incredibly small, but it also carries an IP55 dust- and water-protection rating, so it'll work well in motorcycle, marine, and powersports applications. The amp's power, input, and output harnesses are sealed and the internal circuits conformal-coated to ensure safe operation and protection from corrosion. Hertz's Universal Speakers Simulator (USS) technology works with your factory receiver's speaker load detection circuit to prevent shutdowns when you use the radio's speaker wiring for the amp's input signal.
